Clinical Coordinator
Nacira serves as a Disability Specialist and Clinical Coordinator at DSP, bringing a background in occupational therapy and a strong commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments. She holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from UCSB and completed her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Pacific University. Having navigated higher education as a first-generation, low-income student, she is dedicated to empowering students with the support and resources they need to thrive. Nacira applies her specialized training in task analysis, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications to advance universal design and digital accessibility across campus.
In her free time, you can find her hiking local trails, trying new restaurants with her husband, practicing yoga, tending to her indoor jungle, or spending time with friends and family.
